A NEW BOOK ON CODING

An interesting new book about children's coding has been written by Dr Marina Umaschi Bers. She is director of the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University as well as codeveloper of the Scratch Jr programming app. it is interesting because oit focuses on how young children (7years and under) can engage in computational thinking and learn how to become computer programmers. Coding can be integrated into the various disciplines taught in the classroom in order to promote the acquision of literacy, mathematics, natural science using project based learning among other methodologies馃尀

La Dra. Marina Umaschi Bers ha publicado un libro muy interesante sobre los ni帽os y la programaci贸n de ordenadores. Trabaja de directora del grupo de Investigaci贸n de Desarrollo Tecnol贸gico en la universidad de Tufts, as铆 como de codesarrolladora de la aplicaci贸n Scratch Jr. Es interesante porque plantea su enfoque en como los ni帽os de 7 a帽os o menos pueden empezar a desarrollar el pensamiento computacional y aprender a programar ordenadores.
